FAQ: General

What is network sharing?
Network sharing allows you to share your networked devices, such as Xbox, Windows Media Centers, TiVOs, Printers, and more with other members of your network.
Do need install anything on my Xbox or on my media server or digital media receiver?
No, you do not need to install anything on your Xbox or media server. Once your PC is part of a Leaf Network, it will pick up the traffic off your home network and route it to the members you have selected. Of course, your Xbox and media server need to be on the same network as your PC.
Do I really have a direct connection?
Yes, our patent pending solution let's you form a direct peer-to-peer TCP connection with every member of your network. There is no servers proxing traffic between you and your members, you own the connection.
If I am behind a firewall, will it work?
Yes, it will work. You do not have to modify any firewall settings or even have access to the firewall. You can be located in a hotspot or hotel and still be member of a Leaf Network.
Do I have to pay to be a member of a Leaf Network?
No, it is your bandwidth you use to form connections with other members and you should not pay to use your own bandwidth.
